Tomorrow's organization will become a function of a global intelligence and consciousness, with online as well as offline manifestations. Open, transparent, and malleable. Therefore, successful businesses will learn to integrate linear with organic, left brain with right brain, and calculation with trust.

Maarten Bas Backer (28-03-1979) holds a Master degree in International Business Studies and has lived, studied and worked in Europe, The United States and Turkey. In 2003 Maarten worked with the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, conducting research on the role of artists in an emerging economy. He joined De Baak, a management education center in the Netherlands, in 2005 as a project manager and new media evangelist. As an IT entrepreneur, Maarten co-developed several new companies, concepts and projects in the fields of web development and software outsourcing to China.

Currently Maarten works as an independent Internet project manager, consultant and business developer. He lives and works in Rome, Italy, and travels between Rome and the Netherlands.
